Personal Journey
When I was about 12 years old, my Dad told me “Never work for the public service”. After 17 years in the private sector in food manufacturing, my path led me to choose the public service. In the next 16 years, I worked in government programs, policy and operations, culminating in my role as Assistant Deputy Minister, Primary Care and Rural Health. Looking back, I now understand what my Dad was telling me - public service is as challenging as it is rewarding. However, I would choose the same path again. It provided me with a wealth of experience in the most challenging and dynamic systems and taught me the true meaning of resilience, agility, and leadership. I bring that experience to my work with clients where I serve as a calm, curious, and competent partner to help you explore your challenges in a thought-provoking way and help you navigate the complexity I used to sit inside.
